I've tried a few php editor for ipad applications including :
- Koder - $5.99
- Textastic - $9.99
- forI - $9.99
- Edhita - Free
- Editor for ipad $3.99
- Gusto $6.99
and so far my favorite php editor is : Koder because it easier to use ;)
Koder have all what I need doing web dev in the ipad , and it's easy to use
Textastic have a text highlighting, supports dropbox, ftp and webdav.
Gusto have a good UI and support projets too but it crashed when I edit a file with more than 2000 lines.
for I is pretty good, it supports theme and have syntax highlighting too, but it lacks of line numbering, and it's not updated since long time.
Edhita is free and open source but it's too simple for me.
